Located just south of Highway 6 on Highway 290 N, John Eagle Honda is one of the leading Honda purveyors in the greater Houston area. Renowned for its customer service acumen and top-notch selection of new and used cars, the dealership prides itself on creating happy drivers throughout Spring, Cypress, and The Woodlands.

The Obstacle

John Eagle Honda sought to connect with a new generation of car buyers by becoming the most innovative and web-savvy dealership in Houston. The effort would begin by developing an enhanced presence on Twitter and Facebook through creative interactions with the ultimate goal of increasing car sales. Leading the way was Integrate president, Allie Danziger, driving a Honda Insight around Houston and serving as a real-time customer service representative for John Eagle.

The Approach

  • Created @DrivingAHonda Twitter account
  • Established “Honda Love is Bigger in Texas” Facebook campaign
  • Organized social media contests to improve engagement
  • Crafted public relations campaign to promote the Honda Insight drives

The Results

  • Scavenger hunt with 13 Houston locations covering 450 miles in 12 hours using only nine gallons of gas to showcase hybrid’s capabilities
  • 250 RTs to @DrivingAHonda Twitter account
  • 28% MOM increase in Facebook page likes
