At Integrate Agency, we’re not just a team; we’re a collection of diverse talents, unique quirks, and fascinating stories waiting to be discovered. Today, we’re pulling back the curtain to shine a spotlight on one of our newest team members, Thomas. From local theatre stages to the bustling world of marketing, let’s dive into Thomas’s world and uncover the hidden gems that make him an invaluable part of Integrate.

Q: Share one surprising skill or hobby that helps you in your marketing work.

A: I moonlight as a local theatre actor in the Austin area. When you audition you’re essentially “selling” yourself. And having a creative outlet helps me come back to work with fresh ideas on how to move the needle forward.

Q: What’s your go-to productivity hack when you’re facing a deadline?

A: I put some Airpods in and play a “studying” playlist on YouTube. I always turn to music to help get me in “the zone”. I usually opt for a “lo-fi studying” type of playlist.

Q: What’s the most rewarding part of collaborating with clients?

A: The most rewarding part of collaborating with clients is seeing the tangible impact of my work. Whether it’s finding alignment with their business goals or sparking meaningful conversations, seeing that positive ripple effect of my efforts fuels my passion for what I do. Knowing that I have played a part in making a difference in the client’s world brings a sense of fulfillment that is truly priceless.

Q: If you could switch roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why?

A: Danielle – I love being an individual contributor but I’ve always wondered what it’s like to be in the C-Suite! I’d like to think the power wouldn’t go to my head, but I’d love to have a corner office in downtown Austin + a virtual assistant.

Q: What’s your favorite social media platform and why?

A: I am drawn to TikTok because of how dynamic and unfiltered it is. It’s the “Wild West” of social media right now. Not only that but it allows space for normal people to share their craft and be creative.

Q: If you could have dinner with any marketing or business guru, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

A: Dale Carnegie, author of “How To Win Friends and Influence People”. I read his book at a young age and it was one of the best things I ever did. Everyone should read it, regardless of their career or life path. My biggest takeaway from reading it is you should always focus on other people’s wants and needs before your own. That will yield better results than if you just focus on yourself.

Q:  Lastly, what advice would you give to aspiring Sales Account Executives aiming to achieve success in the current business climate?

A:  Read “SPIN Selling” – it’s a key foundational sales book that every newbie should read. Always be open to coaching/learning new things, have grit, and be consistent in your day-to-day tasks and activities.
