It’s Always a Good Idea to Celebrate Your Achievements

The 2018 awards season for the marketing world is underway, and Integrate has already walked away with seven awards for two incredible public relations and social media campaigns.

It’s no secret our scrappy, creative team consistently pushes the limits on ideas, campaigns, and opportunities for our clients. While we’re proud of how hard our team works each and every day, it feels incredible when that work is recognized by the Houston chapters of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Orangetheory Fitness is a leading fitness brand with hundreds of locations across the country. The chain has become so popular in Houston that there will be 20 studios in the greater Houston area by the end of 2018.

Due to the holidays, December is typically a slower month for fitness class attendance. To combat this dip in turnout, the Orangetheory Fitness Houston team at Integrate created a member-involved charity event deemed “Torture the Trainer.” For the 12 Days of Christmas, Orangetheory Fitness Houston members could assign reps of six designated exercises to the trainer of their choice. For every $1 an Orangetheory member donated, they would get to see their favorite trainer “sweat it out” doing a burpee, push-up, pop jack, jump squat, or row during a live event after Torture the Trainer concluded.

We selected Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast & Louisiana as the local charity partner and set a goal to raise $18,000 to grant wishes for two children. The Orangetheory Fitness Houston community blew this goal out of the water and raised $53,000 in just 12 days, granting six wishes for six Houston children.

Through combined efforts with public relations and social media, Integrate successfully promoted the event to reach Orangetheory Fitness Houston members and Houstonians. We garnered more than 2,200,000 media impressions, including coverage in several print and online publications, and reached more than 32,000 Houstonians during the Facebook live feed of the Torture the Trainer Watch Party. During this event, every trainer performed their assigned exercises (53,000 reps!) and Orangetheory Fitness Houston presented the donation check to Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast & Louisiana.

Round Top Blogger Weekend

A quaint, historic town of 90 people in the Texas Hill Country, Round Top, TX receives an influx of more than 200,000 visitors twice a year during its famous antiques fair. This event benefits from the year-round home décor industry, as celebrities and enthusiasts from all over the world plan trips to visit.

In order to attract a new audience to Round Top apart from the annual antiques fair, we decided to utilize prominent lifestyle bloggers and influencers from all over the country to enjoy an all-expenses paid weekend trip to Round Top. Because Millennials are much more inclined to consult and be swayed by a blog or social media influencer when making travel plans, we decided to host 13 bloggers in Round Top for a “Blogger Weekend.” These bloggers traveled from destinations as diverse as Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York, and St. Mary’s, PA.

Together, the bloggers had an average of 100,000 followers on Instagram with a combined reach of over 11 million followers. Round Top hotels, restaurants, and 16 other Round Top businesses were mentioned/tagged in 108 Instagram Stories and received more than 2,767,996 media impressions on influencer pages. Additionally, two of the bloggers who attended shared three full blog posts highlighting their trip to Round Top, resulting in an additional 1,013,598 media impressions.

Kudos to the Integrate teams who spearheaded both of these campaigns! We are incredibly proud of our agency’s accomplishments so far in 2018, and we know the recognition we have received thus far serves as a constant reminder of not just where we’ve been, but where we’re headed.
