What a whirlwind first quarter it’s been for the Integrate team! The past three months were chalk full of creative campaigns and incredible events for our team, and we were honored to help create, facilitate and implement each and every one of them.
Integrate took on public relations and social media efforts surrounding the ReelAbilities: Houston Film and Arts Festival for the three months leading up to and during the main week of the Film Festival, February 14-19. Integrate’s efforts resulted in 17.53% of the event’s website traffic in those months, a combination of both social media work (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) and traditional public relations. Social media accounts saw exponential growth with Facebook following increasing by 26%, Twitter by 42% and Instagram by an astounding 97.5%. In addition to securing sit-down interviews on NBC, FOX and CBS affiliates in Houston, Integrate was able to acquire new media coverage with KPFT Open Journal, HERE Houston, Technology Bytes Radio, the Houston Free Press, Houstonia Magazine and PBS. Plus, we basically became best friends with X Games Gold Medalist, Kevin Pearce, and that’s a win in and of itself! If you haven’t heard of his Love Your Brain movement, we’d highly recommend checking it out.
The Merrill House:
March 2nd was a big day for our team, and for Paul Miller, owner of Gr8 Plate Hospitality. After making the decision to transition former restaurant, Paul’s Kitchen, into an incredible event venue, The Merrill House, our team was tasked with announcing the big news. We worked with members of Houston’s foodie media and ensured new social media pages were up and running. Brian Gavin Diamonds’ “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” Event:
Our team was excited to work with diamond expert and longstanding client, Brian Gavin Diamonds, to host an exclusive event for some of Houston’s top lifestyle and fashion bloggers and their #BGDBesties. Dubbing the event, “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” our team invited Houston-area bloggers, plus each of their best gal pals, to a private dinner where they were able to interact with Brian Gavin, himself, play with diamonds, snap photos and take home a tailored swag bag. While we’ll share a full recap on the blog in the coming months, we couldn’t wait to dish on the results! The bloggers in attendance had a cumulative social media audience of nearly 265,000 people and together, posted about the event on social media 33 times, with Instagram posts securing nearly 2,000 likes and 111 comments. Can you say #winning?!
Anyone out there love being in the great outdoors? Hey, us too! Working with Cabela’s corporate communications office in Sidney, Nebraska, Integrate was charged with securing media coverage around the opening of the new Cabela’s store in League City, the first in the Houston-area. The advance media preview day was attended by eight Houston publications, including the Houston Chronicle, Houston Business Journal and The Galveston Daily News and resulted in more than 6 million potential media impressions. The Grand Opening, which occurred two weeks later, was covered by two local television stations and follow-up stories were written by all the print outlets that first attended the preview. In all, the combination of Houston media stories and social media mentions that Integrate secured surrounding the Grand Opening event resulted in nearly 13 million potential media impressions.
Our founder and president, and might we add, speaker extraordinaire, Allie Danziger, graced many a stage with her expertise this Spring. As a panelist on Media Alliance of Houston’s networking event on Career Development, Allie wowed the audience with insight on growing an agency and following your passions. Additionally, Houston’s most engaged female professionals had the chance to learn about marketing tactics and pick Allie’s brain, as she served as a mentor in Houston Business Journal’s Mentoring Monday program at the beginning of the month. Team members Mary, Holly and Ashley B. tagged along to score some mentorship, too. Knowledge is power, right?
Speaking of the HBJ, did you catch Allie’s contributor article with takeaways from Integrate’s Freaky Friday in a recent edition? If not, feast your eyes by following this link.
Oh, and did we mention, that Alexis, Ashley T. and Allie helped the NCAA test and tweak its Houston social media presence leading up to Final Four weekend? You know you’re a true social media influencer when the NCAA comes knocking on your door.
In case you couldn’t tell, Q1 was filled with nonstop action for the Integrate team, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! Stay tuned for what’s sure to be another busy and fun-filled quarter.
